Over the past several months, our family has spent a lot of time searching our hearts and seeking clarity about the future of Mustard Seed. Not long ago, we were genuinely considering passing the shop on to a new family who could carry it into its next chapter. But as we prayed, reflected, and waited, a new and unexpected opportunity for growth opened up, one we couldn’t ignore!

This spring’s addition of our Seedling Room has been an incredible blessing and a beautiful success. And now, with great thought and great faith, we’re taking another leap. This summer, Mustard Seed will be expanding through to the Fashion Floors & Interiors side of the building, essentially doubling our footprint and allowing us to create an even bigger, more inspiring version of the shop you love.

 

To bring this vision to life, we’re partnering with additional local small businesses and talented creators, and vendors, much like we did with our Seedling Room. New life and new growth were the heart behind the Seedling Room name, but that spirit is truly the foundation of our path forward. We are committed to offering an ever‑changing, uplifting collection of vintage and unique finds, handmade goods, repurposed and refinished furniture, home décor, gifts and so much more. We won’t spoil all the surprises just yet, but we can promise this: you’ll be delighted by what and who’s coming!

 

We’re also excited to share that we’re launching a brand‑new logo. Thirteen years ago, we paid $100 for an online company to create our original logo design, and while it has served us well, we felt it was time for something that reflects who we are today. We’ve personally redesigned a logo that feels more like us, bright, meaningful, and full of heart. There’s no better moment to unveil it than now, as we step into this new season.

 

Through every twist and turn, “Mama Mustard Seed” (Marcia) has reminded us that this has always been God’s business, not ours. We are simply following the path we believe He’s laid before us, trusting Him as we take this big step.
